She was a member of Ashby Lane Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Gipson; son, Gerald Daniels; daughter, Patricia Ann Hubbard; brothers, Chester, Joseph, Arlie Bennett; sisters, Mildred Allen and Elizabeth Cook;
Viola is survived by her children, Lowell Daniels (Karen); sister, Louise Troutman; grandchildren, Sherrie Shely (John), Samuel Wedding (Linda), Jennifer Vincent (Brad), Leslie Capps (Brian); and nine great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday at noon at the W.G. Hardy Funeral Home, with burial following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Thursday 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
