Rantoul, Ill., Jan 16. (Special.)-
George Albert Lepper, 70 year old farmer, died at his home in Harood township last evening aat 8 o'clock, following a stroke which he suffered Saturday. Mr. Lepper had been in failing health for the past several months.
The deceased was born near paxton, March 18, 1864, the son of Thomas and Matilda Lepper. He was one of seven children. He was united in marriage in 1891 in Paxton to Miss Ada Garner and to this union eight children were born, all of whom are living with the exception of the eldest son, who died in 1929.
Besides his wife, he is survived by the following children: Mrs. Jessie Jordan Anchor; Mrs. Birdie Smith of this place; Elmer, Mrs. Fay Bethel and Thomas, all of Chicago; Charles of Quincy, and ray at home, who was engaged in farming with his father. The deceased had resided on the farm where his death occured for the past 49 years.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home. Members of the Odd Fellows' lodge, Ranoul, will have charge. The deceased had been affiliated with the lodge fr 44 years. Interment will be made in the Paxton cemetery.
