Rantoul -- Charles H. Lepper, 59, California, a former Ludlow resident, died Tuesday night in a California veterans hospital. He hd been in poor health for many years.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Clark's Funeral Home, Rantoul. Rev. W. Harold Loyd officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Mr. Lepper was born Jan 18, 1901, near Ludlow, son of George and Ada Lepper.

He is survived by a son, Raymond, Bismarck, N.D.; three sisters, Mrs. Faye Bethel, Delavan, Wis., Mrs. Bertie Smith, Champaign; Mrs. Jessie Jordan, Vandalia; three brothers, Raymond, Ludlow; Delmar, California; Thomas, Jonesboro.

Mr. Lepper was a veteran of World War I.
