Simon (Si) Pellow, the great hunter, 71, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, peacefully in his sleep in Bonanza.
Si was born in Alameda, Calif. on Nov. 26, 1945. He graduated from Anderson High School, class of 1962. He was an avid hunter, loved collecting arrowheads, and enjoyed playing cards or any games with family and friends. He was a sports enthusiast, “especially watching the Raiders when playing against the Chiefs and razzing his daughter.” Si was a great storyteller, and full of laughter. He was a dedicated member of the Eagles Lodge, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Boone Crockett Club, NRA, National Wild Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited and many other hunting clubs.
Si would want all hunters to be proud of their kill, generous with their meat, respectful of fellow hunters and thankful for all the animals.
Si is survived by his son, Si Pellow II; daughter, Tiffany Kay Mosburg and her husband Greg; grandson, Remington; grandaughter, Simone; great-granddaughter, Kairi; two brothers, Tim and Ralph Pellow; three sisters, Ruth Stahl, Becky Stahl and Francis Cogle; and many more nephews, nieces, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Eagles Lodge at 27 SE St., Lakeview. Gone hunting...See you in the woods.
