Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Clara Virgie Neal, has been called to join her Lord and Savior. She passed
from this life on February 9, 2003 at the age of 97. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John and her
daughter, Shirley; parents, James Franklin and Dula Graham Horton and her siblings, Jane Cox, Icie Mae Carpenter,
Jim Horton, and Lou Story. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Kay and Rayford Johnson; two
grandchildren, Brian and wife Fran Johnson, Karen and husband Craig Dowell. She also leaves to remember her
numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be greatly missed by her many friends at Harlandale Church of Christ,
where she has been a very faithful member for over 50 years. Clara was a retired registered nurse having done service
at Medical Arts and St. Benedicts Hospitals.
