Thomas Carr Parr was the son of Enoch Parr (1785-1851) and Nancy Carr (1791-1830). Service 2nd Lieutenant, 2nd Regiment, Company D from Washington County, Indiana. Mustered in 20 Jun 1846, New Albany, Indiana by Colonel Samuel Churchill, died 23 Feb 1847 at the Battle of Buena Vista, in Mexico. He is buried in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, Indiana. He was 29 years of age.
