Marion was born to Alexander & Jean McLeod (Taylor) on Feb 17th, 1858.


Marion's first husband was John Casper Clackett whom she married at the Cook Street Methodist Church in Bushwick, Brooklyn on Sep. 9th, 1877. Together they had 7 children.


In 1880 the family lived at 401 Bushwick Ave in Brooklyn.


After the untimely death of her first husband in 1892 after being struck by a Dodd's Express horse drawn carriage on Fulton Street in Brooklyn, Marion married George Knight Blackman and had 1 more child.
