Ann Carver Nantz, 82, of Mooresville, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.
She was born on August 24, 1934, to the late Simp and Stella Marlowe Carver. Mrs. Nantz was retired from Templon Manufacturing in Mooresville. She loved to cook, the Carolina Panthers, and was a professional grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe V. Nantz; son, Jeff Nantz; sister, Norma Brawley; brothers, Alvin, Woody, and Wallace Carver; and granddaughter, Nicole Catledge.
She is survived by her children, Wanda McKenzie (Keith), Donna Catledge, Scott Nantz (Dee); sisters, Jenny Cline, Barbara Rathbone; grandchildren, Matt McKenzie (Brooke), David McKenzie (Samantha), Jake Catledge, Luke McKenzie (Cait); and great granddaughters, Taylor, Madilyn, and Lemley McKenzie.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Charles Hutchens officiating. Burial will follow the service at Centre Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30-3:00 PM at the funeral home.
