Mrs. Lucy C. Lafitte
Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy C. Lafitte, 78, who died at the home of her son, R.A. Lafitte at Summer Grove yesterday morning, will be held at the Osborn Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. today, by the Rev. J.F. Kane, Pastor of the Southside Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery near Logansport, Louisiana. Mrs. Lafitte was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hunter, Louisiana. She is survived by five sons, W.I. of Benton, R.A. of Summer Grove, B.C. of Oil City, A.C. of Logansport, and J.C. Lafitte of Rainer, Oregon and two daughters, Mrs. Van Middleswart of Lamar, California and M.O. Barber of Shreveport. Pallbearers will be seven grandsons: Arnold, Grady, Walter, Douglass Lafitte and Louis, Joe and Jarrell Barber.
