Glen Benner, 77, Indianapolis, the former owner and operator of Benner Equipment Co., died Saturday in St. Francis Hospital Center.
He owned the company 26 years, retiring 10 years ago, and was previously the credit manager for Westinghouse Electrical Supply Co.
He was a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Southport and a member of Southport Masonic Lodge, the Indianapolis Athletic Club, and Hillview Country Club of Franklin. He was a former member of the Southport Lions Club.
Born at Omaha, Ill., he lived in Indianapolis 47 years.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Singleton and Herr Madison Avenue Mortuary, where friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Benner, a daughter, Patricia Rau, and two sons, Douglas and Gregory Benner.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
