Adeline Wren was born in Nanaimo, B. C. June 10, 1921 to Giovanni and Theresa (Dagnone) DiSalvo. The family moved to Washington State in November of 1921. She graduated from Boradway High School and Edison Vocational School in Seattle and went to work as a Bookkeeper. On October 8, 1942 she and Donald Wrenn were married in Seattle. He was in the Navy in WWII. He died in 1993. They moved to Montesano in 1948. They purchased some land and built their own home in 1951. She went to work for Picco Logging Company, as a bookkeeper, then for Picco Motors, then Brumfield Twidwell after their merger in 1965, where she worked till they sold the dealership. Surviving are three sons, Richard and family of Bay Village, Ohio; Larry of Portland, Oregon; David of Bellevue, Washington, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Private interment will be at Wynooche Cemetery in Montesano.
