Mrs. Ella Branning, of Lockport, mother of Rolland Branning, of Muncy; Robert, of Jersey Shore, and Mrs. Burns [Vernon] Billby (sic), of Salladasburg, died in the Lock Haven Hospital Saturday, March 10, 1945.
Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. M. F. Hane, Lock Haven; Mrs. Alva McBride, Swissdale; a brother Robert Peddigree, of Woodward Township, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Passel (sic), Lock Haven, and Mrs. Annie Smith, Swissdale.
Services will be conducted from the funeral home, 109 West Church Street, Lock Haven, at 10:30 a.m. today with burial in Fairview Cemetery. She appeared on the census of 1870 in Woodward Twp, Clinton, PA. She appeared on the census of 1880 in Woodward Twp, Clinton, PA. She appeared on the census of 1900 in Woodward Twp, Clinton, PA. She appeared on the census of 1920 in 507 Bald Eagle St, Lock Haven, Clinton, PA. She appeared on the census of 1930 in Hood St, Allison Twp, Clinton, PA.

Lock Haven - Robert L. Branning, 68, better known as Buck Branning, of 910 Cleveland St., died Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the Lock Haven Hospital, which he entered May 31.
Mr. Branning was last employed as a miner by the Gillen Coal Co., at their stripping operation at Tangascootac. During World War II he worked for the Simon Wrecking Co. in Jersey Shore.
Born at Farrandsville, he was a son of Joseph L. and Ella Peddigree Branning.
Surviving are his wife, the former Maude McCloskey, a stepson, Kenneth L. Condo, Lock Haven; three step-daughters, Mrs. Pauline Overdorf, Mrs. Ralph Dutton, Lock Haven; and Mrs. Daisy Strouse, Tampa, Fla.; 14 step-grandchildren including one, Gerald Peters, of Lock Haven, whom the Brannings reared; two brothers and two sisters, Alvin, of Lock Haven, Roland, Williamsport; Mrs. Alva McBride, Castanea and Mrs. Alice Engle, Jersey Shore R.D. 2.
