Victor was the son of Swan and "Kate" (Nordeen) Olson.
On January 18, 1904, he married
Cassandra Smith in Cambridge, Illinois.

Among his survivors were:
a daughter,
Mrs. Anthony Milkenas of Harvey, IL.;
four sons,
Stewart of Loveland, CO.;
Robert of Weidenhoft, Germany;
Max of Kewanee;
and
Charles of Bradford, Ohio.
Nine grandchildren also survive along with
a brother and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter and a sister.
