"Cassie" was the daughter of Charles and Mary Ellen (Maxwell) Smith.
Her marriage to Victor Olson took place in Cambridge, Illinois on January 18, 1904.

Among "Cassie's" survivors were:
her husband;
one daughter,
Mary (Mrs. Anthony) Mikenas;
four sons,
Stewart K. of Denver;
Maxwell of Kewanee;
Robert of Chicago;
and Charles of Kewanee;
one sister,
Mrs. Maude Bergland of Galva;
and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by
a daughter, Jean;
one brother and two sisters,
in addition to her parents.
