Thelma Peterson Moore, 82, formerly of Orbisonia and most recently of Cresaptown, Md., died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1988, at Sacred Heart Hospital.

Born March 6, 1905, at Orbisonia she was a daughter of the late Cyrus Harden and Karel Elizabeth (Nerhood) Ulsh. Twice married, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Ray Peterson, in 1972, and by her second husband, Paul B. Moore, in 1984.

Two sons and one daughter survive - Howard "Dutch" Peterson of LaVale, Md.; Richard "Pete" Peterson of Miltenberger Road, Ridgely, W. Va.; and Pauline V. Grant of Cresaptown, Md. There are 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother, Eugene Ulsh of Orbisonia, and one sister, Mrs. Vesta Wertz of Shade Gap. Preceding in death were seven brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Moore was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Cumberland, Md.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 5, at the Aughwick-Germany Valley Church of the Brethren. Officiating were the Rev. Miles VanSkike and the Rev. Raymond S. Hill. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
