Claypoole Genealogy, The Pennsylvania Magazine of History, Vol 14, page 86, quotes Helen's father, James Claypoole: "My Daughter Helen was borne ye 6 day 9 Month 1662 about 9 of ye Clock in the Evening in Scots yard near London stone." Quaker "9 Month" was November in 1662, and 10 days must be added for leap year correction since 1582, yielding 16 Nov 1662 as the Gregorian Calendar date of Helen's birth.

From the same reference, page 87, quotes Helen's brother Joseph Claypoole: "My Sister Helen Bethell departed this Life ye 9 5 mo 1691 at Jemaca [sic] and their [sic] both her Children dyed." Quaker "5 mo" was July in 1691, and 10 days must be added for leap year correction since 1582, yielding 19 Jul 1691 as the Gregorian date Helen's death.
