LeRoy Hunt

COPPERFIELD—LeRoy Hunt, 37, U. S. Hotel, Copperfield, died in his hotel room Sunday at 3 p.m., of complications from heart ailment and pneumonia.

A miner in the employ of U. S. Smelting, Refining and Mining Co., Mr. Hunt was born in Tucker, Wasatch County, Sept. 30, 1910. He was a son of Samuel S. and Rosann ‘Mills' Hunt.

He had been employed at the Copperfield mine intermittently during the past year and previously had worked in other mines at Butte, Mont., in Nevada and at Park City, Summit county.

He married Rose Ann Savage in Park City in 1934.

Survivors include his widow, Salt Lake City; two sons, Thomas LeRoy and Carl, six brothers and seven sisters: Elvin Joseph, Salem, Ore; his mother, Salem Hunt. Huntington, Emery county; Raymond S. Hunt, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Bertha Frampton, George E. and Karl Hunt, Clearfield, Davis county; Mrs. Ruby Cannon. Mrs. Wanda North, Ivan, Ealda, Sam and Donna Jean Hunt, Salem; Mrs. Maxlne McAllister, Durango, Colo., and Mrs. Ila Shoemaker, Tremonton, Box Elder county.
