Jacent “Virgil” Daniels, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at The Carrington Place in Wytheville, VA. Virgil was born September 7, 1930 in Glen Alum, WV and was the oldest of 13 children. Virgil had an innocent heart of a child and was genuinely loved by everyone who was fortunate to meet him. Virgil enjoyed watching The 3 Stooges and westerns. He loved taking trips to Walmart and meeting new friends, he was a stranger to no one.

Virgil is survived by three brothers, a sister, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Charlie and Eunice Buchannon Daniels, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Kelly, Charles, Burgess, Harold and Frank Daniels; and three sisters, Ruby Mahon, Easter Mahon and Janie Bennett.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 1 to 2 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where Funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm, with the Pastor Dwayne Cline officiating. Burial will follow at the Daniels Cemetery in Glen Alum, WV.
