Houston—Ruby Huffman Crowley Stewart, 63, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016, at her home. She was born April 20, 1953, to the late George Worth Huffman and Wille Mae Harmon Huffman in Chickasaw County. She was a member of Amity Baptist Church. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Macedonia Methodist Church with Bro. Rex Wilburn and Bro. Scott Griffin officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 until service time. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Memorial Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her two sons, Christopher Brad Crowley (Gracey) of Pontotoc and William Steve Crowley of Woodland; three grandchildren, Taylin Leighann Crowley, Madison Hope Crowley and Brianna Grace Crowley; one brother, Tebo Huffman (Lorene) of Houlka; four sisters, Georgia Scott (Kenny) of Tupelo, Mary Griffin of Tupelo, Gladys Smith (Roger) of Houston and Geneva Rogers (Carl) of Houston; a sister-n-law, Faye Huffman of Woodland; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Willie Gene Huffman.
Visitation will be 5 until 7 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, November 21, 2016.
