Dale Adrian Lavey, 63 of 716 Leonard St. Piqua, died Sunday October 30, 2005 at 1:50 pm in the Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born in Bradford on September 29, 1942 to the late Dale A. Lavey and Evelyn (Pitsenbarger) Lavey of Piqua. He married Carole Diane (Coburn) Lavey on January 21, 1968 in Piqua; and she survives.

Other survivors include a son, Dale Andy and Tammy Lavey of Piqua; two daughters, Lori and Marvin Epley, Lisa and Chad Emery all of Piqua; two grandsons, Andrew Lavey, Tyler Lavey; two brothers, David and Barbara Lavey, Michael and Anne Lavey all of Piqua; and a sister, Vivian Lavey of Piqua. He was preceded in death by a sister, Edie Yaney.

Mr. Lavey was a 1962 graduate of Piqua Central High School and retired from the Machine Shop of Jackson Tube Company.

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 10:00 am in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Donald R. Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
