Absalom bought a plot in Brown's Wonder Cemetery but his obituary says he is in Union Cemetery (Old Union). There is no record of him at either cemetery and no stone at either. Because the trustee has a plot for him at Brown's Wonder, I can assume he is next to his wife.

Absalom Evans Is Dead At Age Of 93
His Demise Occurred At Son's Home In Putnam County
Body Is Brought Here
Funeral Will be Conducted Sunday at Fairview Church and Burial Will be at Union Cemetery
Absalom Evans, ninety-three years old, died at the residence of his son, Simpson Evans, in Putnam county, at 4:20 p.m. Friday of senility. The body arrived here today on the noon interurban car, and was taken to his late residence, six miles east of Lebanon. The funeral will be held at the Fairview church at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. C.A. Brown officiation. The interment will be at Union cemetery.
Mr. Evans was born in Davidson County, NC in 1815. He was married in 1827 to the late Catherine Aden. The children surviving are: George Evans, Oklahoma; Simpson Evans, Putnam county, Ind.; Siritha Raborn, Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Christian church at Fairview.
