Mr. Thomas " DoMan" West, age 74, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Brother Todd Peoples will officiate with burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery in Tally Station, TN.

The family will receive visitors 4:00-8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

He was born August 25, 1942, in Marshall County, to the late Cecil and Tisha Mae Adams West Sr. He was a native of Lewisburg, TN, but lived in Shelbyville for several years. He was a self-employed painter and a member of the Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, James "Ward" West, Claude “Tudy” West, Sgt. Major Cecil “Whistle” West Jr., Robert “Bucking” West, and two sisters, Evelyn West Brannan and Sarah Ann West Cawthon Haislip.

He is survived by four sisters, Marie (Phillip) McMillian, Alice (Tim) Dunn, Lizzie (Clyde) Peoples, and Barbara Peoples, all of Shelbyville; one brother, Willie Eugene (Bo) West, of Lawrenceburg, and several nieces and nephews.

Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting with the arrangements.
