Born in Rochester, Pa., Jan. 26, 1882, Mrs. Hazen was a daughter of the late Luis and Elizabeth Hays Reno, and had been a resident of the Chardon and Munson area since she was six years old.
Mrs. Hazen was a member of the former Christian Church of Chardon, now the Pilgrim Christian Church. She was a member of the Senior Aid of the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Malcolm (Betty) Boorn of Middlefield, and Mrs. Homer (Lucille) Tyler of Cleveland; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Albert Ray Hazen preceded her in death in 1960, and a son died in childhood.
