Dewey Lee Cravens, 68, Liberty, Ky., died Dec. 27, 2006 at his residence.
He was born June 3, 1938 in Casey County, Ky. to the late Coy and Nora Gadberry Cravens. He was a loader operator at Casey Stone Company. He was a member of the American Legion and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors his wife, Faye Loveless Cravens; a son, Brian Lee Cravens, Liberty; a brother, Fred (and Kathy) Cravens, Morristown, Tenn.; three sisters, Betty (and Jack) Robinson, Liberty, Collettie Cravens, Liberty, and Glennis (and dale) Foster, Bethelridge.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Winfrey Cravens, and a sister, Daisy Cravens.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2006 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ronald Wesley officiating.
Burial will be at Mill Springs National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Friday at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers include Keith Lawless, Scott Taylor, Ricky Carman, Conrad Baldock, J.C. Foster, and Marty Wesley. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Foster, Kenny ray Wesley, and Bob. Bill, and Roger Loveless.
Bartle Funeral Home in Liberty is in charge of arrangements.
