Mrs. Ida R. Rutz, 80, of 921 N. St. Elmo St., Allentown, died Saturday in her home. She was the widow of Francis Rutz.

She was a warper for various area silk mills for many years until retiring in 1963.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Alice (Brong) Allender.

Surviving are a daughter, Dolores R., wife of Frank S. Reinish, with whom she resided; four brothers, Paul, James, Leo and Edward, and two sisters, Hattie, wife of Ray Hontz, and Mrs. Verna Moyer, all of Allentown, and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Stephens Funeral Home, 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown. A calling hour will precede services.
