From the Adams Review, April 3, 1969:
Paul Ellsworth Anderson was born May 5th, 1935 at Adams. He was baptized and confirmed at Little Cedar Lutheran Church. He attended school at Adams Public School.

On June 14th, 1952 he was married to Lenore Thune. Two children were born to them: Kim David and Laura Alice.

Those who survive him are his wife, Lenore, son Kim, and daughter, Laurie, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Anderson; brother Willard of St. Paul, sister Ramona (Mrs. Robert Hanson) of Adams, nieces and nephews.

On March 19th Paul received critical head injuries in a car accident and was taken to St. Olaf Hospital at Austin. He was transferred to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester where he stayed until the time of his death on March 24th.

His life's work was farming. He has been active in many community and church affairs. he will be missed by those who knew him, especially his family.

Paul Anderson, 33, died Tuesday of head and chest injuries received in a one-car accident March 19th.

Anderson was thrown from his car after it hit the right shoulder of the road and then went into the opposite ditch about 1-1/2 miles west of Rose Creek on Highway 56. He had been hospitalized at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester. His death is the first 1969 fatality in Mower County.

Funeral services will be held at Little Cedar Lutheran Church, 1:30 PM, Thursday, Pastor Wayne Quibell officiating. Interment will be in Little Cedar Cemetery. Adams, Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Anderson is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter.

He was named Outstanding Young Farmer by the Austin Jaycees in 1967.
