Ed Palmer, 74, of Richton,died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2001, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, at Jones Funeral Home in Richton, with burial in Frisco Cemetery.He was a truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Ilene Palmer of Richton; two sons, Jerry Palmer and Dean Palmer, both of Richton; three stepsons, Randall Langele of Richton and James Langele and Tommy Langele, both of Mobile, Ala.; three daughters, Ruth Weaver and Sally Wade, both of Petal, and Hilda Kitchens of Richton; three stepdaughters, Sue Stringer and Laura Siefken both of North Carolina, and Patricia Langele of Richton; three sisters,Ivey Lee Landrum of Richton and Pearlene Ross and Burnice Mozingo, both of Waynesboro; two brothers, Joseph H. Palmer and Enoch Palmer, both of Waynesboro; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert Ross, Bobby Joe Ross, Ricky Simmons, Carl Ray Simmons, Calvin Mozingo and Adam Palmer. Jones Funeral Home in Richton was in charge of arrangements.
