Miss Ruth Ester Pease, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Pease, was born in Chase, February 22, 1893. She died at her home west of Reed City Sunday afternoon, November 29, 1931, at the age of 38 years, nine months and seven days.
Mrs. Dadles was educated in the rural schools and graduated from Reed City high school in the class of 1910.
For eight years she taught successfully in the public schools of Lake and Osceola counties.
On June 28, 1925 she was united in marriage to Arthur B. Dadles. To this union four children were born, two died in infancy.
She was baptized in the Christian faith and since the year 1924, was a member of the Lutheran church.
For the past ten years she suffered from tuberculosis. Everything humanly possible was done to arrest the dread disease but as time went on her strength gradually failed.
Left to mourn her departure are her husband and two children, Velda and Merlin; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pease; one brother, Rev. J. J. Pease ofJackson; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Devereaux of Poughkeepsie, N. Y., Mrs. Patience Pepper of Reed City and Miss Florence Pease at home; together with many other relatives and a large circle of friends.
Following brief services at the home of her parents, funeral services were held from the Lutheran church with Rev. E. H. Gerfen officiating. Interment took place in Chase Baptist cemetery
