Dorothy Mae Armstreet, 90, of Texas City passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in Pearland, Texas.

She was born October 9, 1926 in Bivins, Texas to James and Eunice Wilcox. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Texas City and a member of Northside Baptist Church in Texas City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Floyd Shelton and second husband Grady Armstreet, her sisters Jo Clayton and Nora Lee Owens and grandson Steven Shelton. Dorothy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; Melvin and Kathy Shelton, Michael and Patti Shelton and Murl and Barbara Shelton; sisters Eunice Heitt and Inez Hillman; brothers Charlie Wilcox and Jamie Wilcox; her six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 10:00am on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Hayes Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas with Rev. Wendy Warren officiating.
