DR, J, C. SNYDER DIES IN PHILADELPHIA Dr. James Cephus Snyder, a former resident of Mattoon, to dead at his home In Philadelphia, according to word received today by his brother, F. A. Snyder, of this city. His death followed an illness of four months from heart trouble and other ailments. He was fifty-eight years old. Local relatives hare not been Informed as to the funeral arrangements. It to presumed that burial will take place at the former home of Mrs. Snyder in the northeast section of Iowa. Dr. Snyder was bon and teared on a farm near Ashmore. He worked for a time at the M Alschuler store In Mattoon. He left here more than twenty-fire years ago. He was an osteopath by profession. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nellie Snyder; four brothers and a sister, Dr. C. Paul Snyder, Philadelphia; Dr. C. W. Snyder, Oakland; Fred A. Snyder, Mattoon, John H. Snyder, Charleston, and Mrs. O. D. Boyer, Ashmore, and his mother, Mrs. W. A Snyder, Ashmore.
