MRS. MAY STAGGS
Mrs. May Staggs, 68 years old, died at 2 o'clock yesterday morning at the family home about five miles south of Paris on Route One after a four weeks illness due to pneumonia.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. B. H. Pinkston at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Cook & Wright funeral home. Burial was at the Green cemetery.
Mrs. Staggs was formerly May Green, daughter of Charles and Rachel Green. She was born in Edgar county where she had always resided. Her husband, Noah Staggs died five years ago.
Five children, as follows, survive: Athel, William and Taylor, at home; Mrs. Maude Black, south of Paris and Mrs. Arthelia Gross of Paris. There are two brothers, Charles W. and James Green, south of Paris.
Mrs. Staggs was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
