Theodocia Wright, dau. of Dea. Josiah Wright and his 2nd wife Theodotia Little, b. circa 1780 in Pittsfield, Mass. She d. on Dec. 4, 1858 in Pittsfield, ae. 78 (town record). Her town death record states she was interred at Hinsdale, Mass., an item not included in her Mass. (1841-1910) state death record.
On Dec. 28, 1802 in Pittsfield, Theodocia m. 1) Roswell Branch, s. of Vine Branch and Dorothy "Dollie" Partridge, b. after June 25, 1780 probably in Lenox, Mass. He d. in Pittsfield of "lockjaw" on June 25, 1819, Æ 39 (g.s.) They had nine children (surname Branch): Grove Wright, Vine P., Mary, Orson A., Rufus W., Salome Wright, Albert, and twins Catherine Adelia and Sarah Ann Amelia, latter who both apparently d. in infancy.
In or about 1828, Theodocia m. 2) as his second wife, Samuel Wing, s. of Seth Wing and Huldah Myrick, b. Dec. 17, 1774 in Harwich, Mass. He d. Dec. 17, 1863 in Pittsfield, Mass., age 89. There were no children of the marriage. Samuel m. 1) Abigail Prentiss on Nov. 17, 1796 at Partridgefield (now Peru), Mass. by whom he had numerous children. Abigail d. in Hinsdale, Mass. on Oct 16, 1824 (g.s.)
