Edith L. Miller, 86 years old, of Miller Township, Newport, passed away October 19, 2016 a The Manor at Perry Village.
Edith was a member of the 1st Pine Grove Church of God and loved gardening, spending time with family, baking, making blankets and collecting owls. She was born November 21, 1929 in Newport to the late Glenn and Mabel (Baker) Frye.
Edith was the widow of Richard L. Miller and is survived by her children, Dennis Miller (Trudy), Danny Miller (Judy), Chrystal Deiter, Clark Miller and Jill Miller; sister, Arlene Fenicle; grandchildren, Dawn, Vanessa, Kathea, Matthew, Rebecca, Kristen, Austin and London; great grandchildren, Paisley, Sydni and Ryder and sister, Arlene Fenicle. She was preceded in death also by sisters Betty and Doris Weidenhof.
Services will be held Sunday from the Newport First Church of God, 334 South Fifth Street, Newport with a viewing from 1 PM until the funeral service at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
