Elvis Leroy Brown, Jr. was born November 20, 1950 in Cortez, Colorado to Elvis Brown, Sr. and Oletha Craig Brown. He passed away May 3, 2013 at Yuba Skilled Nursing Center, Yuba City, California. He was a Yuba Sutter resident for about 10 years and was a construction worker.
Elvis was a loving son and brother and is survived by his parents, Elvis Sr. and Oletha Brown, of Yuba City, California; his brothers, Paul Brown of Lexington Park, Maryland and Larry Brown of Yuba City, California.
Elvis graduated from Grand County High School in Moab, Utah and attended the college of Eastern Utah, Price, Utah and Utah State University in Logan, Utah, where he studied Forestry and Geology and participated in Basketball and Track.
He enjoyed fishing as well as many other outdoor sports and was an avid rock hound.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, May 10, 2013, at Sutter Baptist Church, 2310 Mulberry St., Sutter, California
