Services for Betty Dickey, 87, of Woodrow will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2012 in the Woodrow Baptist Church. Interment will be at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Sanders Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dickey passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012.
Betty was born October 23, 1925 to Robert and Mollie Boyd, she was one of twelve children. Betty married Cecil Dickey on July 2, 1941. Betty was an interior decorator at Cecil’s Interiors for many years. She was a longtime and active member of the Woodrow Baptist Church.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband on June 26, 2003.
Loved ones include a son, Jimmie Dickey; daughters, Sandy Cox and Polly Coats; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Betty was a devoted and loving wife, attentively caring for Cecil for many years. Everyone loved to be around Betty because she had a love of life and made everyone laugh. She will be especially missed by all of her family.
