Burial will be in Becton Cemetery under direction of White Funeral Home of Idalou.
She died Wednesday, April 10, 1996, at her residence in Becton.
She was born Nov. 30, 1927, in Idalou. She attended Idalou High School and Texas Tech. She moved to Becton from Idalou in 1949. She married J.W. Furgeson on Oct. 5, 1947. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the United Methodist Church of Idalou.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Mike of Petersburg and Eddy of Idalou; two daughters, Debbie Lewis of Hereford and Ann Lisemby of New Home; five sisters, Cecil Gardner of Woodrow, Pauline Peel of Mineola, Ruth Hood of Lubbock, Betty Dickey of Woodrow and Billie Bearden of Kingsland; and 10 grandchildren.
