MRS. ARTHUR MOTE
Mrs. Ada Mote, 63, of Ottumwa Route 6, died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday at the St. Joseph Hospital. She had been in ill health for a long time, and was taken to the hospital Wednesday when she suffered an ankle injury in a fall.
The daughter of John and Addie McKinsey Campbell, she was born Sept. 16, 1897 in Lucas County. She was a resident of Ottumwa and vicinity for 40 years.
Her marriage to Arthur N. Mote took place Oct. 15, 1915, in Chariton. He survives, as do one son, Albert Raymond Mote of Keosauqua; one grandson and one granddaughter, Rex Allen Mote and Naoka Darlene Mote of Keosauqua; on brother, Jack Campbell of Chariton and two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Bohm of Pontiac, Ill., and Mrs. Jessie Webb of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by one son in infancy and two brothers.
Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel. Rev. S. M. Abel of the First Church of the Nazarene will be in charge. Burial will be in the Chariton Cemetery.
