McEwen - At her home on Louisburg Avenue, Sunday afternoon at 1:10 o'clock, Mrs. Amanda Cotton McEwen, age 77 years. Survived by niece, Mrs. Hugh Halliburton; sisters, Mrs. Lucille Tulloss of Franklin, Mrs. T. T. Kimbrough of Scooba, Miss; brothers, Owen T., Park, Thomas H., James E. Cotton, all of Franklin. Services will be conducted from the funeral home of W. J. Bethurum and Son, Monday afternoon, at 4 o'clock by Dr. O. L. Simpson and Elder J. L. Jackson. Active pallbearers Thomas L. and Hayden Tansil, Jesse and James Short, Thomas L. McCall, Ross Gillespie, Sam Cowan, Harvey Cotton. Internment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Franklin, Tenn, W. J. Bethurum and Son in charge.
