Daniel Eugene “Dan” Alspaw, age 67, a resident of Ashdown, Arkansas, died Thursday, October, 20, 2016 in Little River Memorial Hospital. He was born to Ernest Edwin and Mary Ella Clayton Alspaw in Bakersfield, California, on October 27, 1948. He was self employed with Alspaw Properties, and enjoyed fishing, and being outside. He also had a passion for “Buy, sale, or trade”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, DeeDee Alspaw, and his siblings, Ernest Delmar Alspaw, Doris Loften, Doretha Tull, Annie Belle Strawn, and John Dale Alspaw.

He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, two sons and daughters-in-law, a daughter, six grandchildren, a great-grandchild, two brothers and a sister-in-law, two sisters and a brother-in-law, a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Dan Alspaw will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 24, 2016 in Redmen Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, October 23rd from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Chandler Funeral Home.
