Anna L. Mackie, 91, Oshkosh, died Sunday, Aug. 9. 1992, at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born July 19, 1901, in the town of Rusghford, Winnebago County, the daughter of Daniel and Delia Hartske Sage. Anna married Robert Mackie on Nov. 23, 1920. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1969.
Mrs. Mackie was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and its Womens Society, She was a Gold Star Mother, a member of American Association of Retired Persons and was a former member of Elixir. Anna had been employed at the Wisconsin Telephone Co. in Omro and at the Wigwam Restaurant, Oshkosh.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Levenhagen of Oshkosh; a brother, Leonard Sage of Oshkosh; and a niece, Myrtle Kallas of Omro.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Gordon Mackie; a brother, Edward Sage; and a sister, Mable Hess.
Services for Anna Mackie will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Plymouth Congregational Church. The Rev. Lynn Scovil will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the Plymouth Congregational Church.
A memorial has been established to which friends may contribute. Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels assisted the family with arrangements.
