Dorothy Hilda "Dot" Shores Haddock, 67, died Saturday, October 15, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road in Macon. Family will greet friends from 6:00PM in to 8:00PM on Monday, October, 17, 2016, at Rooks Funeral Home, 109 West White Road in Byron. Family may be contacted at 324 Kay Road in Byron.

Born in Macon to the late A. M. and Jimmie Nell Sands Shores, Mrs. Haddock was a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith. She loved flowers and gardening and had a "green thumb". She enjoyed dancing, country music, cooking and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Haddock; children, William Hill (Joan) of Byron, and Anthony Hill (Paula) of Cadiz, KY; grandchildren, Melinda Leigh Thomson of Warner Robins, Alyssa Arrowsmith, Morgan Arrowsmith, and Carolina Arrowsmith, all of Byron, Devin Hill of Lexington, KY, Tanner Hill of Ashland City, TN, and Koby Hill (Nicole) of Clarksville, TN; great grandchildren, Aubrie, Chloe, Raleigh, and Kase; brother and sisters, Gloria Allred of Byron, Buddy Shores (Rosie) of Macon, Nora Brannon of Marshallville, Mary Nell Moye of Augusta, and Juanita Adams (Louis) of St. Augustine, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. She is preceded in death by sons, Woodrow Cason Hill and Jeffrey Haddock, and a brother, Thomas Shores.
