Truman Francis Holman was the son of Aaron Holman and Alethany Hilton. He married Elizabeth Parkhurst, the daughter of Elijah Parkhurst and Mary Brockett on November 1, 1831, in Johnson County, Indiana. They had six children: Letha, Susan, Mary, Rosanna, Aaron, and John. They farmed in Johnson County, Indiana, Effingham County, Illinois, and Pulaski County, Indiana. After Elizabeth died in 1845, Truman married the widow, Milla (Hunt) Leonard on December 23, 1854, in Johnson County, Indiana. They had one child, Matilda Holman. They moved to Kosciusko County, Indiana, where Truman died in 1879.∼age 65 years at death
