Letha Ann (Holman) Roberts was the daughter of Truman Francis Holman and Elizabeth Parkhurst. She married Sylvester L. Roberts on February 7, 1850, in Brown County, Indiana. They had eight children: Mary, Francis, Elizabeth, John, Elijah, Hulda, Clara, and Minnie. Even though Letha was blind, she managed to raise her children and to live to 78 years of age.
