Martha P. (Hoffman) Kaiser, 94, of 305 S. Chestnut Ave., died Monday, May 29, 2006, at her residence.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles D. Stoetzel officiating. Suzanne Golden, organist, along with St. John's Church Funeral Choir will provide the music.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Visitations will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home and again from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Martha was born May 20, 1912, in Park Falls to Frank and Anna (Wallner) Kundinger Sr. She attended St. Anthony's parochial school in Park Falls.
She was united in marriage to Frank Hoffman Sr. on Oct. 6, 1931, at St. John's Catholic Church. He died Dec. 3, 1984. She then married Conrad A. Kaiser on Jan. 16, 1987, also at St. John's Catholic Church.
Martha moved to Marshfield and after her marriage, she helped her first husband, Frank, on the farm in the town of McMillan. They farmed until moving to the city of Marshfield in 1963. After her children got older, she worked in the laundry department at Saint Joseph's Hospital from 1951 until retiring in 1972. She and Conrad did a lot of traveling and visiting with family.
Martha was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and its Parish Council of Catholic Women Society and a member of the Marshfield Area Missionary Society.
She is survived by her husband, Conrad; children, Agnes (Dick) Knutson of Milwaukee, Martha (Dennis ) Schmidt of Lannon, Frank (Sharon) Hoffman Jr. of Germantown, Mary Ann (Fred) Gluntz of Peoria, Ariz., and Anthony Hoffman of Marshfield. She is further survived by 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; one daughter, Roseann Cournoyer; four sisters and four brothers.
