Services were at 10:30 a.m. today at St. John's Catholic Church for Frank Hoffman Sr., 90, of 204 N. Hinman Ave. He died at 5 a.m. Saturday at the Marshfield Convalescent Center, where he had lived since Nov. 12.
The Rev. Steven J. Brice officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Wesley provided the music. Burial was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers were Richard and Roman Stauber, Ernest Becker Sr., Andrew Hornick, Martin Bauer and Louis Zeleznichar.
He was born Aug. 5, 1894 in Auburndale, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alois (Rosalia Gotz) Hoffman and received his education in schools there. He farmed in the Auburndale area until 1920 and then moved to the Town of McMillan.
He married Martha P. Kundinger Oct. 6, 1931 in St. John's Catholic Church. They observed their golden wedding in 1981. They farmed in the Town of McMillan until 1963 and then moved to their present address.
He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.
Surviving besides his wife are four daughters, Mrs. Russell (Roseann) Cournoyer of Sussex, Mrs. Richard (Agnes) Knutson and Mrs. Dennis (Martha) Schmidt, both Milwaukee, and Mrs. Fred (Mary) Gluntz of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons, Anthony of Marshfield and Frank Jr. of Milwaukee; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
