Mrs. Brathwaite had been a domestic worker and a laundry worker. She had worked for Raydon Laundry in Atlantic City.
She was a member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Atlantic City. She was also a member of the Sons and Daughters of the Islands.
Born in St. Phillips Parrish in Barbados, British West Indies, she lived in Atlantic City since 1911.
She is survived by two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 1709 Artic Ave., Atlantic City, where friends may call from 10 a.m. Fraternal rites will be said at 10:15 a.m. Burial will be in Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville.
Arrangements are by the Greenidge Funeral Home, Atlantic City.
