Mrs. Hamilton had lived in Bay for the past 40 years. She was a housewife and a member of Elm Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. "Boll Weevil" Hamilton; a daughter, Melissa Hamilton; five sisters, 10 brothers; and her parents W. H. and Sudie Turner Adams.
Survivors include a son, Allen Edward and wife Tami Hamilton of Bay; a sister, Opal Shaw of Vilonia; two brothers, George Admas of St. Louis and Jack Bridgman of Conway; and three grandchildren, Seth Hamilton of Tampa, FL, Wade and Luke Hamilton, both of Bay.
