Kamilche Man Dies In Local Nursing Home

Sympathy is extended to the family of Roy Freeman who passed away at the Botts Nursing Home last Saturday. The Freeman family were residents in the valley 12 years ago and upon leaving the valley they moved to Idaho where they lived a number of years.

LeRoy S. Freeman Dies Saturday
LeRoy Silas Freeman, 71, a retired Shelton farmer, died in Botts Nursing Home Saturday.
He was born Dec. 4, 1890.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel, Nampa, Ida.; seven daughters, Mrs. Helen Loehr, Bend, Ore., Mrs. Alice Corssan, Shelton, Mrs. Marjorie Lewis, Caldwell, Ida., Mrs. Ruth Carkhuff, Portland, Ore., Mrs.. Pearl Copely, Portland, Ore., Mrs. Dorothy Archer, Portola, Calif., and Mrs. Marion Lindsey, Arlington; three sons, Ronald and Darold, Shelton, and Donald and Loren, Nampa, Idaho; three sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Schau, De Witt, Iowa, Mrs. Hazel Smith, De Witt, Iowa, and Mrs. Blanche Jesson, Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral services will be a 3 p.m. today in Batstone Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shelton Memorial Park
