Obituary. Mamie Jean Moore, 86, of Doe Run died June 25, 2003 at home. She was born April 6, 1917 in Little Rock, Arkansas, a daughter of Franklin and Eva (Bryant) Church.

On July 3, 1934, she was married to Eugene Carson Moore.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Michael Moore and Albert Moore; and two daughters, Mary Borden and Della Rae DiBortolo.

Surviving Mrs. Moore are five sons, Joseph and Gary Moore Both of Doe Run, Bernie Moore of Potosi, Robert Moore of Utah and Johnny Moore; seven daughters, Shirley Ventimiglia of Ironton, Eva Moses of Ironton, Kathleen Moore of Nashville, Tennessee, Garnita Brown of Iron Mountain, Yvonne Gipson of Farmington, Vicki Moore of Tennessee, and Carrie Simmons of Park Hills.

Mrs. Moore had several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Pallbearers were Richard Long, John Long, Tony Burke Ventimiglia, Vince Ventimiglia, Ricky Kastanko and William Lombardo.

Services were held June 27, 2003, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown with Reverend Carl Cureton officiating. Interment was at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in Arcadia.
