A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 AM on Monday, October 10, 2016 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM, Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City.
Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa City.
Fred was born August 9, 1933 in Swisher, Iowa and lived for many years in North Liberty and Iowa City.
He graduated from University High School, served in The National Guard and worked for over 40 years at Ford Dealerships in Iowa City, Iowa.
He loved camping, travelling to Texas and spending time with family.
Fred is survived by his wife, Katherine (Rohret) Kasper; daughter,Jeannette (Steven) Choate; granddaughter, Michelle (George) Behlke; brothers-in-law, John D. Meade, Dean Rohret, Kenneth Finken and Gene Bell; sister-in-law, Shirley (Tom) Skay; and several nieces and nephews.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Edith (Cole) Kasper; sister, Doris Meade; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bell, Margaret Finken and Karen Rohret.
